So many of us just carelessly ingest anything we come across. I wish I lived on a farm where I grew my own food. That seems to be the only place where I might be safe.

Thank you Dr. Fetterman,

This is an often overlooked problem. Most people do not realize just how many chemicals they are ingesting in a single slice of white bread or a piece of pizza.

MSG (Mono Sodium Glutamate) is well known to cause problems, but many foods contain "glutamate" in other forms or in combination with other additives and re-named something else. So just because a package says "No MSG" that doesn't mean you aren't eating it.

Children are particularly susceptible to these toxic chemicals as their brains are still growing and maturing. Some experts have found a link between ADD/ADHD and food additives.

A book I recommend on this topic is "Excitotoxins." It tells the story of these additives and teaches consumers what to look for. I found this book while at a conference on Brain Trauma. Just look it up on Amazon or Barnes & Noble. (I have no $$ itnerest in this book, I use it and recommend it to my patients)

Again, thanks for alerting the public on this important health issue Dr. Fetterman.
