I was reading my friend’s post over on Psychic Medium Rare and wanted you all to read this.  Thanks Rick.

Can an Angel Commit Suicide? Candace Downing…

When my angel comes home
It’s been hell bein’ here alone
God tell me, why has she flown
So far away
I pray she won’t stay another day
I’ll be in heaven when my angel comes home
Please come home

“Angel Come Home”-The Beach Boys

I watched this and I stopped. There comes a time when all of us are changed by an event. Forever. Death creates situations that either turns families bitter or turns them into heroes. The Downings lost their twelve year old daughter to suicide and not in the ways that you may think…

The Downings are Heroes and I hope all of you who watch this clip spread the word in any way you can.

I want them to know that they’re not alone. That their angel is “home”.

  2. This is a truly horrific story, and one which I was previously unaware of. As someone who has gone through some very tough times on a mental front, I can honestly say this has really hit home. I refused to take my anti-depressants as a teenager and in my early 20’s, and have thankfully come out of the other side a much stronger person.

I hope that stories like this can help educate and spread awareness to those who need it.

  3. Wow, I never would have thought that this was possible… It’s such a sad thing to see a family go through something like that. The clip actually brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for posting this, Dr. Andy. =)

  4. I would just like to take a moment to thank both you and Rick for your heartfelt support. It is my greatest wish to warn others so that their families do not have to needlessly suffer the emotional upheaval that we have experienced. There is not a day that goes by that I do not miss my beloved Candace. This is an especially hard year. We still have no resolution with either the doctors or the pharmaceutical corporation. This would be Candace’s senior year in high school. We should be planning for her college admissions and not fighting corrupt companies. Please continue to spread the word until all children are safe.
    God Bless You!
